Working closely with her clients is the key to her bespoke commissions – not only does Maryse allow for their needs and own individual design passions, but how and where the commissioned collection will be used is of equal importance. Her solutions are supported with extensive research,
which takes her from libraries and museums to traveling the world, from France and Italy to India, Australia and Vietnam, to work with talented artisans and factories so that every commission is unique, special, timeless.

From china and glass to textiles, every piece is handmade, hand finished or embroidered or hand blown, and by working so closely with these specialised global artists and artisans, Maryse can create the most fabulous pieces and source wonderful complimentary objects to complete each individual concept to the highest standard and exclusive design.
With each commission, "it is always the challenge which stimulates me in finding the right solution," she says. "I am in total control of design and manufacturing, involving my clients as much as possible in this process. My concepts can be as simple as adapting something from my existing collection to suit a client’s needs to developing an extraordinary new design from scratch to fit the needs of my very knowledgeable and private clients. Like in fashion, with accessories, I think of my bespoke solutions as a set of creative tools with which clients can express their moods and passions. For me, a beautiful table should always be a feast for the eyes and for the palate."
